About this event

NPower, with the support of Citi Foundation, is on a mission to help more women claim their space in tech and provide the strategies to advance their careers.

The 40 by 22 initiative seeks to launch tech careers for 2,400 young women by 2022 by providing the in-demand skills needed to prosper in the digital economy. Our goal is to fill the growing tech skills gap by expanding the student enrollment of young women to 40% of our free Tech Fundamentals program nationally over the next four years.

Mark your calendars for the final event of our 40 by 22 convening series. This community conversation, Reaching Back: Building a Path as a Mentor and Leader, will discuss how to serve as a mentor and sponsor, strategies to support from inside and outside your organization, and how we can collectively address opportunity and wage equity. We are bringing together tech leaders to share ideas, challenge the status quo, and offer advice for both companies and employees to minimize the hurdles young women of color face in pursuit of a career in technology – and we want you to be there!
